GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The palace is located in the historic center of the town and its presence is mentioned in a document dating back to 1213.

The building has four floors and a surface area of approximately 831 m2, to which are added 237 m2 of attic (on the second floor) and 158 m2 of cellar in the basement, making a total surface area of 1,226 m2.

There are also two rooms with independent entrances from the main road, one of 34 m2 for storage and the other of 17 m2 for commercial use.

The palace has always belonged to the same family of noble origins and has remained intact over time, as the last significant restoration dates back to the beginning of the 19th century, on the occasion of the owner's wedding and with the aim of preparing a worthy home for his bride, also blazoned.

The entrance is through an elegant stone doorway, finely carved and surmounted by the family coat of arms, a real "time portal" that leads us into a house that has been transported to another era.

IL PALAZZO - 1,226 m2 of commercial space on 4 levels

Ground floor

On the ground floor there are various living areas: a large living room with two entrances, one for guests and one for servants, directly from the kitchen and with a fresco depicting a view of the ancient village, a dining room with fireplace, a living-room/study, a study/library, a games room (former lemon house) and the kitchen.

On this floor, which has access to the private garden, there are also several rooms used as storerooms, a woodshed, a wardrobe and, finally, a small bathroom.

The first floor

On the first floor, another large hall serves as a corridor between the numerous bedrooms, ten in all, to which are added two living rooms and two studies, a large wardrobe compartment, a bathroom and, finally, a beautiful private chapel, built in 1866 when some Capuchin nuns were accommodated in the palace after the closure of the convent of Città di Castello.

Second floor

Attic and with good heights, it is intended for attics, with 5 large rooms.

The basement

In the basement there are the cellars, accessible both from the inside of the building and from the garden, and four storerooms, two of which have an entrance from the garden and two with an independent entrance from a street in the village.

The floors remain intact and each room is a discovery: the large living room on the main floor, the old study with its old papers, the dining room with its large stone fireplace, the study with its vaulted ceiling decorated with grotesques, the "room of miracles" with its old cobalt blue wallpaper and its precious and decadent appearance, the charming little chapel built in the mid-19th century with its frescoed vaulted ceiling and decorated walls.

The building, which has solid walls and a partially rebuilt roof, is in need of renovation, especially in the technical part, with the addition of some bathrooms and the renovation of the systems and decorations.
